Community Updates

On June 1, 2024, the newly adopted District Fire Codes went into effect, using the IFC 2024 edition, and a Fire Marshal was appointed. These codes are mainly for new construction such as businesses and subdivisions and for operations such as food trucks, fire work sales and displays, rental properties, special events etc.  These codes do not effect personal residences and properties unless used for commercial or rental purposes.  Existing businesses will have annual inspections to ensure the safety of their employees and our citizens.
